1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the VeeCredit application or website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. About the Service
VeeCredit is a digital ledger that helps you record money you have given to or taken from your contacts. VeeCredit is not a bank, lender, or payment service. We do not move money, provide loans, or guarantee repayment. All entries are records only.
3. Your Account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping your device, OTP, and security PIN safe, and for all activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information.
4. Your Records and Contacts
Transactions you record may be visible to the other party when they also use VeeCredit with the same mobile number. Amounts and entries are entered by users and are not verified by VeeCredit. Entries in the Service are not legal proof of any debt.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not impersonate another person, record false transactions to harass or defraud anyone, upload unlawful content, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
6. Attachments and Content
You keep ownership of files you upload (such as receipts and screenshots). By uploading them you allow VeeCredit to store and display them to you and to the relevant contact as part of the transaction record.
7. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the app. Your profile is deactivated and your personal data is no longer visible. Transactions you recorded remain in the ledgers of your contacts for the accuracy of their accounts, marked as belonging to a deleted account.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeeCredit is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the Service, including disputes between you and your contacts.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
